  Michael McDonald, Michael has had 35 Years in South East Asia with a focus on Myanmar and Singapore and has worked in the Oil and Gas Industry for almost 30 years. Born in Scotland in 1961, Michael has lived and worked in Europe, the Middle East and Asia throughout this time, with more than 30 years spent in Asia. Michael started his career working in Aberdeen, the oil capital of Western Europe, as a manager with Hudson’s Offshore Holdings Ltd (Part of SelTrust, part of B.P). There he serviced some of the largest names in the Oil industry, such as Chevron, B.P, Shell Petroleum Development, Schlumberger Inland Services, Tricentrol Oil, Halliburton, Edeco Petroleum, British Gas, Britoil, British Steel, Atlantic Drilling, McDermott International, Worley Engineering,

Brannan Tempest (UK and Australia)

Brannan Tempest Project and technical lead. Bringing to Oblin Energy not only the concept its self but also a rare mix of business development in computer engineering, IT services and electronic engineering. Brannan attended Kitson Collage of Technology, later qualifying as an IBM systems engineer, Brannan now has a long history of entrepreneurial success founding Fibrecity, Bluechip, Pharmacy2u, Agriwaste Energy Australia, Australian Biowaste Energy, Oblinko, OblinArk, Oblin Engine, TSA. He provides a solid foundation to move the business through its development and launch program. Brannan's previous clients included many County councils, Crossrail London, Vickers Defence, BAE Systems and NASA jet propulsion laboratory. Brannan spearheaded a successful multi million trade sale of FibreCity Ltd, an internet service provider in Aberford Leeds to a leading UK vehicle

Responsible for consolidating reporting from all operating divisions for weekly P&L flash estimates, month-end financials, quarterly forecasts, and identified budget to actual variances. Develop annual budgets and maintained ongoing analytics. Prepared division budgets, expense analysis and allocations for cost centers, including Accounting/Finance, IT, Sales and Marketing. Manage a financial team. Effectively coordinated with operating divisions to shorten the reporting process for monthly closings and improve forecast accuracy. Maintained department reporting productivity and met all deadlines.

Craig Tempest (UK)
Technical Director

Craig Tempest Craig has more than 10 years relevant industry experience with specific qualifications in the hydro sector. He has many years experience in sewer and surface water monitoring, making him invaluable in developing the correct product profiles to attain greatest efficiencies, and best locations.  

Steven Walker (UK)
Project Management Director

Steve Walker Steve has over 35 years experience in the power industry and has a wealth of knowledge both in related IT and also technical data. He has many strong utility industry contacts together with a sound knowledge of industry tariffs that will be invaluable moving forward. For the last 3 years Steve has been working with Innogy (RWE Npower UK), supporting the implementation of SAP utilities, along with implementation of Industry Data for Smart metering and financial reconciliation. He has delivered new products in the UK Half Hourly market, working closely  with large business's that can be beneficial to both the customer and Innogy. Having an MBA and being Managing Director of a successful IT business consultancy, Cupel Solutions, working in Utilities, Retail & Leisure
